Notice
Polycarbonate films for visors can provide some protection. For example, they can provide a physical barrier that, when properly applied and material used, can reduce the spread of larger droplets, e.g., from the wearer coughing, and/or contact infection (e.g., from touching the mucous membranes of the mouth and nose with contaminated fingers).
However, this barrier function does not change the intended purpose of the polycarbonate film: not a medical device or respiratory protection.
To note:
If the product is worn otherwise despite the manufacturer's instructions to the contrary then this is done at the user's own responsibility. Polycarbonate film for personal use. No liability or warranty is assumed, in particular with regard to suitability for a specific purpose.
