FEP-Films

FEP-Films

FEP Fluoroethylene propylene film
Fluoroethylene propylene is a thermoplastic, semi-crystalline co-polymer, whereby this is a transparent, thermoplastic film. This film can be processed in a variety of ways.  For example, it is heat-sealed, thermoformed, vacuum-formed, heat-bonded, welded, metallised or laminated. In the process, the material offers very good abrasion resistance, especially compared to other thermoplastics. In addition, FEP has excellent dielectric properties and offers only a low permeability of gases and chemicals.

Application of FEP films

Due to its technical properties, the film is indispensable in laboratory applications. For example, it is used for non-stick coatings and linings for containers. But our FEP film is also used for bearings, seals, O-rings and electrical high-temperature insulation.
