Construction:

Nomex® e56 fi 15011 is a medium density aramid paper similar in many properties to Nomex® 410 as well as Nomex® 411.

Properties:

Nomex® e56 fi 15011 qualifies by good mechanical and electrical properties and is chemically identical to Nomex® 410. In addition, Nomex® e56 fi 15011 has good impregnating properties and can be used with almost all common electrical coatings and resins (polyimide, silicone, epoxy, polyester, acrylic, phenolic, etc.). In addition, Nomex® e56 fi 15011 is compatible with many transformer fluids (mineral and silicone oil and other synthetic materials) as well as lubricants and coolants in airtight systems.

Applications:

Nomex® e56 fi 15011 can be used, for example, for layer insulation in transformers, as phase insulation in hand-wound transformers, and as electrical and thermal insulation.
