Mylar® a fi 13010 is an electrical insulation film manufactured from polyethylene terephalate and is used as a sheet insulation material up to and including insulation class b (130°C).
Property:
Mylar® a fi 13010 is tensile and tear resistant, dimensionally stable and exhibits excellent electrical properties. This material exhibits good heat and cold resistance to the most common solvents.
aPPLICATION:
Mylar® a fi 13010 is used as interlayer and top layer insulation in transformers, chokes and relay coils. Furthermore, Mylar® a fi 13010 is used as slot and phase insulation, as cover slides and groove sleeves, and as an insulating layer in electrical equipment and as a backing material for electrical insulating tapes.
Standard color:
Mylar® a fi 13010 is manufactured transparent (to milky white) as standard.
