Nomex® Type 414 fi 15020 is similar in many properties to Nomex® Type 410 fi 15000 but has been calendered differently to give it its unique properties.
Properties:
Nomex® Type 414 fi 15020 is similar to Nomex® Type 410 fi 15000 in electrical and thermal properties. Nomex® Type 414 fi 15020 is also compatible with virtually all classes of electrical coatings and adhesives, as well as other electrical equipment components and transformer fluids such as oil.
Application:
Nomex® Type 414 fi 15020 is used primarily for applications that have high flexibility and conformability requirements. Nomex® Type 414 fi 15020 is thus used, for example, as slot insulation in hand wound motors.
