Nomex® 410 fi 15000
Construction:
Nomex® 410 fi 15000 is a synthetic electrical insulating paper consisting of a calendered, aromatic polyamide-fibrid flake composition.
Properties:
Nomex® 410 fi 15000 is a class h (180°C) insulating material. Temperatures up to 200°C have little effect on its electrical properties. The good mechanical properties can be extrapolated from considerably higher temperatures.
Due to its polymer structure, Nomex® 410 fi 15000 is also very good at low temperatures down to -190°C. It has a high short-time dielectric strength. However, the continuous field strength should not be dimensioned above 1.5 kV/mm. Nomex® 410 fi 15000 is compatible with all classes of common resins, paints, adhesives, as well as transformer fluids, lubricating oils and coolants. Common solvents may cause slight reversible swelling. Nomex® 410 fi 15000 is flame retardant (ul94v-0), further it has very high beta and gamma radiation resistance.
Application:
Nomex® 410 fi 15000 is used in virtually all known applications for electrical sheet insulation materials. Thus, its use ranges from AC and DC motors to large generators, to liquid and dry transformers and reactors, even under beta and gamma radiation exposure.
Further forms of delivery:
We also supply moulded parts made of Nomex® 410 fi 15000 and stamped parts made of Nomex® 410 fi 15000. Other dimensions and delivery forms on request.
